Save the Floaters!
It seems there is a new group of concerned citizens called PAP (People
Against Plankton) that wants to eradicate the earth of those pesky little
plankton (evil little buggers, they are!). Write a letter to a politician
stating your concern over this groups agenda. Your letter should include a
concession (admit some of the problems that plankton may cause) as well as three
(at least) reasons why they should be saved. Be sure to include information
about at least one specific group of phytoplankton. Extra points for clarity of
argument, creativity, etc.
